Where were you....
20 years ago:
I had just finished elementary school in Kansas City, KS (or a suburb thereof), and was headed to a different Junior High than most of the rest of my classmates. We had just moved from 70th Street in Shawnee, KS to 77th Street in Lenexa, and that put me in a different zone (however they figure that stuff).
10 years ago:
Finishing up my bachelor's degree at Iowa. I graduated summer semester. I think I took an American Foreign Policy class that summer, and had fun being the one really radical guy in the class.
5 years ago:
That was when I lived alone the previous time. I had moved from Dallas to Austin in Sept '99, and was working for Dell at the time. It wasn't a very good time for me. I'd developed some skills with computers, but still didn't know my ass from a hole in the ground emotionally.
1 year ago:
Living at the old place. My roomate Aaron had just left for Kentucky (that might have actually been 1 year ago today)....I think he moved back to where his folks live in upstate NY. Same job. Not dating Z at that point. It's amazing how much more motivated I am since being with her. I really enjoy being with her, yet I'm pretty self-sufficient in terms of getting stuff done when she's not around.
1 month ago:
My mom was in town about then. Aside from that, it was the typical work then snuggle pattern. :)
1 week ago:
Moved a few carloads of my stuff with the help of Z and my friend Mark from Houston.
Yesterday:
Worked. Found out Saccone's doesn't deliver to my place, although it's only a straight shot 3 miles away (grrrrr). Snuggled with sweetie.
Today:
In training at work, unpacking, fixing couch, cleaning kitchen. Party later.
Tomorrow:
At work. Probably hungover. :)Mood:  accomplished Music: Believing Is Art-Spoon |
